We were fortunate to be asked along for a Civil War Relic Hunt in Virginia. I took us almost 8 hours to find a Skirmish
site. Then we only had about an hour left until we had to leave. I had never worked in such tough soil, highly mineralized
topsoil. The E-Tracs performed quite well. A Great Time was had by all. The best find of the day was Brian's Lever off
of some type of rolling block rifle. I just wish I had taken more pictures
We have since made several trips back

This is very tough soil. If have have never detected in it your in for a surprise when you do. Heavy in iron it can mask
good targets just inches below the surface. So far we have been using VLF machines, the E-Trac and Fisher F-75 Special Edition.
We hope to try some Pulse Machines like the GPX series soon at this place.
