We assemble and test every metal detector and put it through the paces in our test garden to make sure everything is working properly before sending or selling it to you. When you come to the shop, you can also test all the machines for yourself to choose which one you like best. Super Stores just yank a box off the shelf and ship it to you. Being a small shop we do not have the overhead that other places do. This allows us to run many unadvertised specials that will save you many $$$ on your detector purchase. Some companies may offer you a "package deal" with accessories at little to no cost to you. First there is no such thing as "no cost" to you. It's just figured in with the price of the Machine.  Second the quality of these accessories is mostly poor. Cheap Headphones that are uncomfortable and don't hold up, Tools that bend, cheap vinyl carry bags, etc. You work hard for your money. If you buy a Detector from someone else you are most likely paying too much. Do yourself and your wallet a favor, call and check our prices before you buy.
