from the Red Clay of Va. |
We have been hunting around Culpeper Va. One in our group has a TDI
and the other an Infinium. The GPXs are out performing them at least 5 to 1 on Bullets and Buttons and digging 80-90 percent
less junk iron. With a GPX you know the iron is there and if it's big iron I will dig it.

From the Red Clay of Culpeper |
If there is one thing we've learned from hunting around
Culpeper and Orange Va. It is Sweep Slow !! If you want to be pulling Bullets
and Buttons out of this soil at over a foot deep, you got to Slow Down ! I
cannot stress this enough. A good place to start is about 1/4th (one quarter) of what you would sweep a VLF machine at. Pulse Induction machines like the GPX 4800 and GPX 5000 are different
beasts and need time to really penetrate the ground and listen for the signal coming back up. You will be well rewarded by
taking your time. If you even get a "blip" turn 90 degrees and resweep it.
